Your First Few Sessions

The beginning of therapy is all about getting to know you — who you are, what you’re carrying, and what brings you here. In our first few sessions, we’ll:

  • Talk through what’s been going on in your life

  • Explore your goals, concerns, and what you’d like support with

  • Begin building a relationship rooted in trust, safety, and collaboration

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. Whether you’re in crisis or just feeling off, there is no wrong way to show up.

What Therapy Looks Like

Each session is tailored to you. Some weeks, we may process emotions and life events. Other times, we’ll focus on skill-building, insight, or identifying patterns. My style is warm, curious, and client-centered. I’m here to guide, not judge, and to work alongside you as we uncover what healing looks like for you.

  • Sessions are 45 to 55 minutes and held virtually

  • We’ll meet weekly or bi-weekly depending on your needs

  • I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care
