Insurance & Rates for Virtual Therapy in NJ, NY & PA

Getting the support you need shouldn’t be confusing or out of reach. Whether you’re planning to use insurance or pay privately, this page is here to help you understand your options so you can feel confident moving forward.

I offer virtual therapy for teens, young adults, and adults across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and I’m committed to making the process as smooth and accessible as possible.

Insurance-Friendly Therapy in New Jersey

I accept most major insurance plans, making therapy more accessible and affordable. Currently in-network with Cigna, Aetna, Horizon BCBS, and more for virtual sessions in NJ, NY, and PA.

Not sure if I’m in-network with your plan? I’m happy to help you check.

How to Check Your Coverage

When contacting your insurance provider, here are a few helpful questions to ask:

  • Is Marissa Giuliano, LCSW in-network for outpatient mental health services?

  • Are virtual (telehealth) sessions covered?

  • Do I have a copay, deductible, or coinsurance for mental health visits?

  • Is prior authorization required for therapy?

You can usually find this information by calling the number on the back of your insurance card. If you're unsure where to start, I’m happy to walk you through it.

Private Pay & Out-of-Pocket Rates

If you prefer not to use insurance, or if your plan is out-of-network, I offer a private pay option. Out-of-pocket rates vary based on session length and clinical needs.

If you are not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of services. This estimate will be provided prior to starting therapy, so there are no surprises when it comes to your care or your budget.
