Teen & Young Adult Therapy in New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania

Navigating adolescence and early adulthood can feel overwhelming — especially when you're carrying the weight of anxiety, low self-esteem, disordered eating, trauma, or questions around identity. I'm here to support teens and young adults with compassionate, virtual therapy designed to meet you exactly where you are.

Whether you're in high school, college, or somewhere in between, this season of life can bring challenges you don’t have to face alone.

This Season of Life Is a Lot

You Don’t Have to Handle It Alone

Between academic pressure, social media, family dynamics, identity questions, and body image struggles, it’s no wonder so many teens and college students feel anxious, disconnected, or unsure of themselves.

Therapy offers a chance to press pause and explore:

  • What you’re feeling (and why)

  • How to cope without shutting down or lashing out

  • What you really want — and how to move toward it

Whether you're silently struggling or just need space to figure things out, therapy can help you feel more like yourself again.

Issues I Commonly Help With:

  • Generalized anxiety and constant overthinking

  • Panic attacks or emotional overwhelm

  • Academic burnout or perfectionism

  • Disordered eating, restrictive behaviors, binge eating

  • Negative body image and appearance-focused anxiety

  • Identity exploration: gender, sexuality, or cultural identity

  • Low self-worth, people-pleasing, or fear of rejection

  • Peer struggles, bullying, or isolation

  • Trauma from past experiences or toxic environments

A Safe Space to Be Yourself

You won’t be met with judgment, advice you didn’t ask for, or pressure to be someone you’re not.

Therapy with me is collaborative and affirming. We’ll work together to build insight, learn skills, and create space for healing — all at your pace.

My Therapeutic Approach

I use a mix of evidence-based modalities depending on your goals and needs.

If you're working through trauma, eating disorder recovery, or deep identity questions, we'll integrate those areas gently and intentionally.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

Learn to challenge unhelpful thoughts and develop practical coping tools.

DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

Build skills for emotional regulation, mindfulness, and navigating relationships.

ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

Develop acceptance of tough feelings while reconnecting to what truly matters to you.

Solution-Focused Therapy

We focus on what's working and build from there.

Supporting Teens with Disordered Eating & Body Image Issues

Many teens and college students struggle with food, weight, and how they feel in their bodies — often silently. I provide weight-inclusive, fat-positive, and non-diet therapy rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES®) and intuitive eating principles. Together, we can explore what's underneath these struggles and begin to rebuild trust in your body.

Virtual Therapy in NJ, NY, and PA

I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy for teens and young adults in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. This makes it easier to access consistent support from wherever you are — at home, at school, or during a break between classes.

Virtual therapy can be especially helpful for teens who feel more comfortable talking from a familiar space.

If you're a parent or caregiver, I understand that supporting your child’s mental health can feel overwhelming. Therapy gives teens and young adults a space to build autonomy, resilience, and self-awareness all while giving you peace of mind knowing they have trusted support.

We can discuss how involved you'd like to be depending on your teen’s age and goals.
